Open since 1972, this palapa restaurant is directly across from the water, meaning you can watch the day's catch come straight from the docks. With its seashell-strewn floor and plastic tables, this place is far from fancy, but you're sure to leave satisfied. The menu features all the local specialties like ceviche, seafood soup, fish fillet stuffed with shrimp, and breaded seafood rolled into a ball and deep fried. In season (July–December) you can order lobster and octopus cooked several different ways. Don't be surprised if owner Diego Núñez offers you a bird-watching tour; he and his family also operate Ría Lagartos Adventures across the street.
