Hotel Plaza Campeche Review

Located in the historic center across from Plaza St. Martin, this ochre-yellow hotel is one of the largest and grandest in Campeche. Although clean, comfortable, and well equipped, the rooms lack some of the character you might find in the more historic hotels. Marble floors and an elaborate lobby mark the entrance to two restaurants and a garden with a small pool. Rooms are spacious and have TV's, a/c, phones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Only the suites have balconies, but all the rooms have nice views overlooking the city or pool. Next door is a second building (Hotel Plaza Colonial) with older rooms; you may want to take a look at both before making your selection.
