Despite the thatched roofs and rustic ambience, the rooms at the island's largest property are loaded with everything you could want to be comfortable. Manicured gardens surround a round, wall-less palapa lobby with marble-floors and cushy seating. From here, sand pathways lead to independently standing bungalow-style rooms, as well as a large pool and a buffet-style restaurant—all right on the beach. Standard rooms have a private entrance and wooden floors, while master suites have two floors, a bathtub, Jacuzzi, and ocean views. Rope handrails, wooden masks, and colorful Mexican fabrics enhance the décor. While there's no spa, guests can use the temazcal (Mayan sweat lodge) and massage services are offered.
