Cenote X-Keken (Cenote Dzitnup)

Cenote X-Keken (Cenote Dzitnup) Review

Five kilometers (3 mi) west of the main square and on the old highway to Chichén Itzá, you can swim with the catfish in lovely, mysterious Cenote X-Keken, which is in a cave lighted by a small natural skylight. There are toilets and changing facilities but no lockers. Directly across the street from Cenote X-Keken is Cenote Samula, equally stunning with crystal clear water and hundreds of birds nesting between the stalactites. Guides offer tours for tips.
