Facing the Plaza Mejorada, this museum is funded by the Banamex Cultural Foundation, and offers a comprehensive introduction to different kinds of Mexican art craft including ceramics, textiles, stone work, cardboard art, woodwork, and glass. Even if you don't want to see the whole museum, take a look in the gift shop, which sells shawls, baskets, dolls, and masks. Prices are a bit high, but so is the quality of the crafts; even if you don't buy anything here, a look around
will inform your purchases at area markets.
