Fodor's Review

A gleaming wood bar contributes to the old European feel at this overwhelmingly popular spot, a branch of a Mexico City café that has been around since the 1950s. Overhead, brass-studded ceiling fans swirl the air-conditioned air. Sixteen specialty coffees are offered (some spiked with spirits like Kahlúa or cognac), and the menu has light snacks as well as some entrées, including tamales, fajitas, and enchiladas. The waiters are friendly, and there are plenty of them,

although service is not always brisk. Both the café and upstairs Internet section are open 24 hours a day; free Wi-Fi is available downstairs for laptop-toting customers, and there is a designated patio for smokers.
