The city's first deluxe hotel is still among its most elegant. Rooms are tastefully decorated, with russet-hue quilts and rugs set off by blond-wood furniture and cream walls. There's a top-notch business center and a beautiful marble lobby. Upper-crust Meridanos recommend Spasso Italian restaurant as a fine place to have a drink in the evening. Peregrina Bistro's Sunday brunch from 1 pm to 5 pm is a memorable event.
