The main draw here is the friendly, personal attention the owners lavish on guests. The rooms are sparse and the mattresses a bit lumpy; however, everything is clean, and you'll have all the basics like air-onditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV. For about $8 more, you can spring for the hotel's one suite, which has a private terrace, a full refrigerator, and is markedly nicer than the other accommodations. There's no restaurant, but a continental breakfast is served; Roger, the owner, is also able to whip up simple dishes upon request. This is wonderful spot to watch flamingos at sunset. The hotel can help organize birding or fishing expeditions as well as other tour options.
