Getting Here and Around
A toll road from Campeche City to Champotón costs $5.50 one-way and shortens the drive from 65 km (40 mi) to 45 km (28 mi). Look for the Carretera 180 "cuota" sign when leaving the city. Carretera 180 continues to Ciudad del Carmen (90 minutes to 2 hours), and the bridge toll entering or leaving Ciudad del Carmen is about $3.
