Mercado Hidalgo

Mercado Hidalgo Review

Don't miss this 1910 cast-iron-and-glass structure, designed by the one-and-only Gustave Eiffel. T-shirts and cheap plastic toys fill the balcony stalls, but the lower level is full of authentic local wares and colorful basketry, as well as fresh produce, peanuts, and honey-drenched nut candies shaped like mummies.
