The best of the private enterprise Web sites is Virtual Vallarta, which has tons of good info and short articles about life in PV. Bucerías and Punta Mita have their own Web sites, as does the Costalegre region as a whole. Excellent English-language sites for general history, travel information, facts, and news stories about Mexico are: the United States' Library of Congress well-organized, albeit dated, Mexico pages; Mexico Online; and Mexico Connect. Mexico Guru has news about PV and nearby destinations, and interactive maps. The nonprofit site Ancient Mexico has information about Western Mexico as well as more comprehensive information about the Maya and Aztecs.
