Although many have been drinking, rather than eating, at this local hangout for years, the restaurant serves great burgers, fries, herb-garlic bread, black-bean soup, and jumbo shrimp, as well as daily lunch and nightly drink specials at the chummy bar. The interior is cool, dark, and informal; two rows of mini-tables line the sidewalk outside. Service is generally attentive, although that doesn't mean the food will arrive promptly. Plus-size patrons should beware the munchkin-size toilet stalls.

Andales is PVs Cheers Bar - it's home, it's a good time and after a couple visits people will know your name! Some of the best times for me have been in Andales, singing (the "Alice" song!), dancing and yes, I even am one of those drunk gringas that took a spin on the donkey through the bar! No shame! Affordable breakfasts served and are tasty and affordable. A trip to PV is not complete without a few nights at Andales! Give it a try, I'll see you there! ![]()

This is the definition of a drunk tourist trap complete with burro rides and puking gringos - avoid at all costs in the evening. Breakfast is actually pretty good.
