Room prices are reasonable considering the small studio apartments have almost everything home does, and four of them face the beach (where the waves are often good for boogie boarding, and always great for long walks along the bay). Each room is configured differently, but all are uniformly bright and cheerful, with private patios and paintings by the owner (she gives lessons in high season). There's a large pool and patio for outdoor barbecuing facing the ocean. There is a three-day minimum stay here; most visitors book by the week in high season. La Paloma now offers off-season discounts. Pros: Car onsite for rental by the day; alongside a beautiful bay; long beach perfect for walking and jogging. Con: Price hike in recent years, although still worth it!
