Cons
La Paloma Oceanfront Retreat Review
Rates are reasonable considering that the small studio apartments have everything home does. Spacious kitchens come with juicers, blenders, toasters, and coffeemakers in addition to stove and refrigerator; microwaves are available upon request. Four of the units face the long, beautiful bay and sandy beach (where the waves are often good for boogie boarding). You can walk on the beach all the way to Barra de Navidad. Each room is configured differently, but all are bright and cheerful, with private patios and paintings by the owner (she gives lessons in high season). There's a large pool and patio facing the ocean. In high season, there's a one-week minimum stay.
