Aquiles Serdán

Fodor's Review:

A somewhat difficult 40 km (25 mi) from the highway, the tiny town of Aquiles Serdán lies between the ocean and a river-fed lagoon. Boats hired here give access to miles of solitary, sandy beaches where primitive camping is permitted—providing you bring all of your own supplies and clean up after yourself. To get to Aquiles Serdán, bear right at the fork just past the village of Los Conejos.
