Fodor's Review:
This comely restaurant in the heart of the Romantic Zone represents fusion of Latin American and Asian elements. The feeling is simultaneously Eastern and modern, with contemporary music and artwork. The small-plates concept has been abandoned in favor of a more traditional menu of appetizers, soups, salads, and entrées with a side of starch and vegetables: try the rib-eye steak, pork ribs with a honey-chili glaze, or the cross-cultural mu shu carnitas with hoisin sauce. Open daily for breakfast and dinner and always closed between 2 PM and 6 PM.

We were in Puerto Vallarta for the last 3 wks and we went back to BocaBento 3x.. We just loved it, the food was perfect, the service great. The 2nd time we went we decided lets do appetizers and share one meal, we went nuts with the appetizers, all great! My favorite was the Shrimp Wonton Purses. WOW to the Passion Fruit Souffle... I feel the prices were amongst the same as any other restaurant in the Puerto Vallarta area, no more pricier than the other. Worth the money!
Cant wait to go back!! Try the Duck Carnitas!!!

Well, this is not a "5" restaurant. It is lovely but the food is overpriced and the anti-gay attitude is inappropriate for the gayest part of the gayest city in Mexico. UPDATE Winter '08-'09 - Boca Bento has moved to Mismaloya.
