Fodor's Review:
Young artist Mateos Gamboa, of Tonalá, creates hand-painted scenes using multiple tiles for México Místico, across from Plaza Lázaro Cárdenas. Themes are traditional, like pastoral scenes with donkeys and whitewashed villages. Stained glass can be custom ordered, or purchased ready-made with traditional motifs such as hummingbirds, bearded irises, lighthouses, and angelfish; or less-traditional motifs, such as the Harley-Davidson logo.
