Festival de Música San Pancho

Fodor's Review:

The four-day Festival de Música San Pancho (San Pancho Music Festival) is an amalgam of the area's best regional musicians; snowbirds also participate. The free jamboree, usually held in mid- to late February, gets bigger and more organized each year. The 2008 event featured bluegrass, blues, jazz, funk and standards in addition to cumbia and Mexican classics. Look for flyers around town that describe events and their venues. San Pancho is about 50 minutes north of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
