It's difficult to categorize this little place above Tapas del Mundo. It's a martini bar without a bar: the owner, Buddy, prefers that people come to converse with friends at tables rather than hang out at a bar. Desserts are a focus here; come for the signature molten chocolate soufflé, the charred-pineapple-bourbon shortcake, cardamom-laced bread pudding, or any of the other delicious innovations. Lights are dim, the music is romantic, and there's an eagle's view of the ocean from the rooftop crow's nest. It's open daily after 7 pm in high season (November through April). The rest of the year, it's open Tuesday and Thursday only, 8 pm–11 pm.
