Fodor's Review:

J.B., pronounced "Hota Bay," is the best club in town for salsa. The age of the crowd varies, but tends toward thirty- and fortysomethings. J.B. is serious about dancing, so it feels young at heart. There's usually a band Thursday through Saturday nights, DJ music the rest of the week. Those with dos patas zurdas (two left feet) can attend salsa lessons Thursday and Friday 8 to 10 PM; or take tango lessons on that schedule on Monday and Wednesday. Cost is $5 with no additional cover; otherwise, the cover is $9 (except Monday and Tuesday) after 10:30 PM.
