From a table on one of four tiers you can watch for whales in season or boats heading to the docks as the sun sets. Asian and Mediterranean flavors have been added to the recipes without great success. (The new chef, Everado Robles, may be able to set things right.) This open-air restaurant with an enormous palapa roof is a great bet for sunset hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Some folks love the food, others feel it is not worth the inflated prices. Weddings are a big part of the business, so call ahead to make sure it's not booked, and to reserve a table on the lowest deck, closest to the water.
