Fodor's Review

Sayulita institution Don Pedro's has wonderful pizzas baked in a wood-fire oven, prepared by European-trained chef and co-owner Nicholas Parrillo. Also on the menu are consistently reliable seafood dishes, yummy Niçoise salad, and tapenade. The mesquite-grilled filet mignon is just about the best around; it comes with baby vegetables, mashed potatoes, and pita bread. The pretty second-floor dining room, with the better view, is open when the bottom floor fills up, usually during the high season (November to May). During high season they also have dance classes and dancing to Latin tunes, currently on Monday, and live flamenco guitar on Thursday. This is a good spot for breakfast, too, after 8 am.

Absolutely one of the best...

Well, all the buzz we'd heard over the years is true. Don Pedro's is phenomenally good. The most fantastic scallops and ahi tuna dishes I've ever had. If that wasn't enough, I also tasted one of the best pizzas in my life. This place is out of this world.

It doesn't get any better

I'm still dreaming about what I ate at Don Pedro's - pasta putanesca, lamb chops, thin crust pizza, bbq spare ribs, grilled Mahi Mahi, beer battered shrimp...the list goes on. It is as close to perfect as it gets. Maybe the atmosphere had something to do with it, being right on the beach. No, it's the food.

Bang for your buck

This spot will please everybody. It's almost a shame it's not more expensive because then maybe people would realize or appreciate what they're really getting. for those of you who panned the place, I would like to know just how well-versed you are in the culinary arts or travel, for that matter? Don Pedro's is world class dining with a relaxed atmosphere. everyone from the seasoned globe trotter to the travel novice would be pleased by the high quality

food and relaxed atmosphere. Really quite the deal for the quality of food, palette, and atmosphere. The only place worthwhile to eat at in Sayulita, honestly.

Our favorite restaurant in PV

I wonder if those folks who pan Don Pedro's were in the right place. We go to PV every winter and make it a point to eat at Don Pedro's. Yumm!
