Located at the north end of Punta de Mita, this three-story condo-hotel offers charming two- and three-bedroom apartments. Situated just beyond the string of El Anclote's beach-facing restaurants, it isn't part of the walled, über-priced Punta Mita compound that houses the Four Seasons and St. Regis. Individually decorated by their owners, each apartment has a full-size washer and dryer as well as a generous balcony or patio overlooking the sand and the sea. The smallest apartment is 1,200 square feet. Large kitchens have stainless-steel sinks and faucets, granite countertops with plenty of prep room, and white marble floors. The innovative cuisine at the adjoining Café des Artistes del Mar provides a nice change of pace from the more traditional seafood restaurants that line the street.
