PV's extremely high number of excellent eateries—from corner taco stands to 5-star Diamond-Award winners—means competition is high, and that keeps prices reasonable. While some restaurants do charge as much as those in New York or L.A., there are tons of wonderful places ranging from moderate to downright cheap. To really experience Puerto Vallarta, try both ends of the spectrum, and everything in between.
