Gran Turismo
The government categorizes hotels as gran turismo (five-star-plus), of which only about 30 are chosen nationwide each year in addition to those; five-star to one-star. Note that hotels might lose out on a higher rating only because they lack an amenity like air conditioning (which isn't always needed if there are good breezes).
