Meeting up with Playa Marinero at the mouth of Río Rigadillo, this strip of medium-coarse beige sand runs parallel to Avenida Pérez Gasga. There are restaurants and hotel bars where you can retreat from the sun and treat yourself to a cool drink. The sand is clean and soft near the shore, but somewhat hard and brown near the palm trees and shrubs that line the beachfront businesses. The beach is popular with Mexican families. Umbrellas can be rented for a minimal daily fee.
