Fodor's Review

The Belmar's array of arches, domes, and cupolas—done in Mediterranean white and blue—give it the appearance of a crazy and secluded castle. The one-bedroom apartments and comfortable double rooms attract a mix of people, although the place has a lonely aura, often with no guests in sight. Many accommodations have balconies from which to admire Playa Zicatela. You can rent by the day in high season and by the week or the month at other times.
