Fodor's Review

The brilliant blue free-form pool with built-in lounge chairs around its rim creates an irresistible centerpiece for this gleaming white resort. Rooms are an adept mix of modern amenities and more rustic-looking elements like hand-painted bathroom shelves and armoires. Waterfalls punctuate the property's 27 acres, and a dreamy nature walk runs from one end of it to the other. The elegant yet casual Chez Binni looks out past the pool to the ocean. Even closer to the water

is Azul Profundo, which sits right on the beach.

I recently stayed at this hotel, the service is very incosistent. Reception and breakfast restaurant has horrible service( I waited about 30mins to check in), requested on type of room they did not honor it. Reception mgr said he was going to call to let us know the status of our request, and I'm still waiting for that phone call. Bar(Bitza)has extremely friendly workers, and the service was great. The hotel public areas are very well kept, the rooms

however look old.

AMAZING! Plan to return many, many times!

My wife and I honeymooned here, and decided to make this place a yearly getaway. In fact, we're going back in a few days! We both agree that this is one of the nicest hotels either one of us has the pleasure to visit. ALL the rooms have a view of the beach. Our room was huge, had marble floors, and the bathroom was almost all marble. Almost everything is open air! The architecture is native in style, and the colors are amazing. The place doesn't

FEEL like a Hotel at all. There are many paths to explore. You may even see some iguanas. Best of all, there is a "secret turtle pond"! I'm not telling you where it is though, you have to find it for yourself! The service was excellent, though it may help to bring your Spanish phrasebook. The food is great. And the breakfast buffet is stunning. The food was SOOOO goood. I've never had milk like that before. Great Place. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
