The Refectory was, as its name suggests, once the eatery for the nuns who lived in what is now the Quinta Real hotel. This historic location offers you the opportunity to sit in the quiet, elegant dining room and listen to the ubiquitous live music provided throughout the day, or outside in one of the various courtyard gardens, where you can hear the sound of the birds splashing in the fountains. The food quality is exceptional, with a slant toward traditional Mexican dishes, and the service is quiet and attentive. Drink your mimosa in the Lavaderos garden, with its spectacular washing fountain.
