Fodor's Review:
This lodge is on a rocky outcrop on remote Punta Pájaros Island, which is reputed to be one of the best places in the world for light-tackle saltwater fishing. An open-air, thatch-roof bar welcomes anglers with drinks, fresh fish dishes, fruit, and vegetables at the start and end of the day. Only weeklong packages can be booked March through July. Rates include a charter flight from Cancún, all meals, a boat, and a guide; nonfishing packages are cheaper. A 50% prepayment is required, and room rates are calculated per person for a week's stay.
