Babe's Noodles & Bar

Babe's Noodles & Bar Review

Photos and paintings of old Hollywood pinup models decorate the walls and are even laminated onto the bar of this Swedish-owned Thai restaurant, known for its fresh and interesting fare. Everything is cooked to order—no prefab dishes here. Try the spring rolls with peanut sauce, or the sesame noodles, made with chicken or pork, veggies, lime, green curry, and ginger. In the Buddha Garden you can sip a mojito or sit at the bar and watch the crowds on nearby Fifth Avenue. The lemonade, blended with ice and mint, is incredibly refreshing. If the place is crowded, head to their second location on Avenida 5 between Calles 28 and 30.

Babe's was perfect for sizeable frozen drinks and yummy asian dishes. We had the chick/shrimp noodle dish and some spring rolls. Both were excellent. The service was very fast. Just tough to get a table.

Well expected more from the reviews. Ordered a curry noodle dish and had a mouth full when I relized that there was uncooked cabbage added under the noodles. Made me sick. Beware
