Azul Hotel and Beach Resort

Fodor's Review:

K

Azul Hotel and Beach Resort. On a secluded beach, this all-inclusive hotel has ocean views, lush grounds, and palapa-covered walkways. Rooms are filled with Mayan designs and tasteful art, and have two twin beds or one double, as well as a tiny bathroom. The property also caters to families with children: there are shallow pools just for children, and cribs and strollers are on hand for guests. For an extra fee, a shuttle transports you to nearby Puerto Morelos, Cancún, or Playa del Carmen. Pros: intimate setting; excellent service; romantic beach dinners. Cons: smallish rooms; mediocre menu; crowded during spring.
