This adults-only hotel is known for its cutting-edge design. A great stone stairway cuts through the stark modern main building; the steps lead to a minimalist, white-on-white open-air lobby, with huge daybeds for sunning, a trendy bar (with a DJ), and a pool illuminated with purple lights. Each of the soundproof rooms has a king-size bed, soft lighting, and a clothesline hung with flip-flops, bananas, and a beach bag. Suites have large balconies with draping hammocks. Each room is outfitted with a noisemaker, so you can fall asleep to the sound of chirping crickets and awake to the sound of whistling birds. Although this is not a beachfront property, guests have free access to Canibal Royal and Kool Beach Club.
