The Deseo is cutting-edge and modern. A great stone stairway cuts through the stark modern main building here; the steps lead to a minimalist, white-on-white, open-air lobby, with huge blue daybeds for sunning, a trendy bar, and the pool, which is lighted with purple lights at night. Each of the austere guest rooms has a bed, a lamp, and clothesline hung with flip-flops, earplugs (the bar has its own DJ), bananas, and a beach bag. There's wireless Internet access in some rooms.
