The laid-back hub of Puerto Aventuras is a terrace café with a varied menu. The coconut shrimp is a good choice, as is the chicken with a chimichurri sauce made from red wine, garlic, onion, and fine herbs. If you're lucky, the nightly specials might include locally caught fish in garlic sauce. The homemade cheesecakes and pies are delicious. Each Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday during high season, musicians from around the world play until the wee hours.
