Fodor's Review

Within its modernist shell, the sleek Rufino Tamayo Contemporary Art Museum contains paintings by the noted Mexican artist as well as temporary exhibitions of international contemporary art. The selections from Tamayo's personal collection, which he donated to the Mexican people, making the basis for this museum's permanent collection, demonstrate his unerring eye for great art; he owned works by Picasso, Joan Miró, René Magritte, Francis Bacon, and Henry Moore. One Wednesday every month the museum has live jazz music at night. Check the website for dates.
