Expect dishes from each major region of Mexico when you come here. Along with a varied regular menu, there are tempting daily specials; you might find a mole made with pumpkin seeds or huachinango a la veracruzana (red snapper bathed in a tomato sauce with capers and olives). Try the refreshing aguas (fresh-fruit and seed juices) with your meal and the café de olla (clove-flavored coffee cooked in a clay pot and sweetened with brown sugar) afterward.

The food reminds me of what you would find if a fonda at a local market. Great chicharon con salsa verde. The agua de limon is wonderful. I go there everytime I am in el D.F.

Enjoyed a mid afternoon dinner here - we had quick and sensitive service, our food was good, and it was nice & quiet. I'd go back again!
