If you come with friends to this ever-busy beef-lover's dream, try the Super Lomo Cambalache, a steak big enough for three or four people. Or try the Don Ignacio, a boneless chicken breast served in a mushroom sauce with pineapple and fresh sweet peppers. And why not sink your fork into the potato soufflé, a house specialty?

I worked for 3 years in Mexcio City. There was a group of 12 of us who "hung out" at The Cambalache every Saturday night. It's an Argentine restaurant, so the beef is TENDER and BIG BIG BIG.
It's THE BEST "steak house" in Mexico City. The Cezar salad is hand-made in front of you, the beef is all slow-roasted over wood coals, the wine list is VERY impressive, and yet the dress-code is VERY casual.
Hands-down the best beef I ate in Mexico City. The "appies" are FABULOUS, but again are more Argentine than Mexican. The blood sausage is particularly good.
Saludos!
