This popular fonda has made a name for itself with fish and seafood platters from Veracruz. Sharing their fame is the torito, a potent drink made from sugarcane liquor and tropical fruit juices. Every day, jarocho (Veracruz-style) and mariachi groups provide live entertainment. The music starts between 1 and 3 in the afternoon, and sometimes continues well into the evening. Between the torito and the music, this place is always full of good cheer. Colonia Veronica Anzures is northwest of the Zona Rosa and east of Polanco.
