Fodor's Review:
In the heart of downtown Mexico City, just behind the Catedral Metropolitana, this large hostel offers sunny, clean, and comfortable rooms at rock-bottom prices. The café in the entryway, which serves up inexpensive pastas, sandwiches, and salads, is a great place to swap stories with fellow travelers (mostly young vacationers on a budget). The kitchen, sunroof, and TV room are also natural places to strike up a conversation. If you're on a tight budget, ask about the shared rooms. Also be sure to ask about tours and other classes offered at the hostel. There are often weekly excursions and dance classes.
