This small favorite right off Polanco park, and not far from Chapultepec park, has many of the amenities of larger hotels, but at a much better price. Marble floors and dark-wood furniture accent the cozy lobby, which leads to five floors of tidy, carpeted rooms with old-fashioned blue-flowered bedspreads and cedar furnishings. Pros: A pleasant street-side restaurant serves out-of-the-ordinary Italian cuisine. Cons: Rooms are tiny.

The room and bathroom are very small like two star European rather than Mexico style. The room and bathroom were dirty and moldy. Several of the front desk personnel were downright rude. They frequently gave mis-information. This hotel is not worth the cost although the location is excellent. I am sorry that I did not check with other reviews before I spent $125 night here. I would not recommend it.

I have stayed at Hotel Polanco many times, it is mi Casa when traveling to Mexico City on business. The rooms are very simple and clean, the Front Desk service is very good. Polanco is a charming area of Mexico City, close to excellent restraunts and shopping. The Italian restaurant off the lobby is very good and they serve a very nice breakfast. If you are looking for a good clean room in a safe part of Mexico City, Hotel Polanco fits the bill.
