Bistro Charlotte

Bistro Charlotte Review

At lunch, regulars are greeted with hugs by Charlotte herself. The ever-changing menu is inspired, and could include anything from caramelized fig-and-Brie appetizers to bistro classics like coq au vin. By popular demand each Sunday the 11-table bistro offers a classic roast with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce. Note that Charlotte closes at 6 pm to attend to her catering business, which serves visitors like Prince Charles.

We read the review in Fodor's. This spot is within walking distance from most hotels in the Polanco. The food is AMAZING. Literally one of the best meals I had in 2007 so far. Get the scallop appetizer - it's a delicious fusion of asian and mexican. YUM! The owner's husband a British expat was delighted to hear how well we liked the food and treated us with an equally delicious chocolate torte for dessert. This is a MUST GO restaurant. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
