So popular you can barely move is the friendly Mama Rumba, a 10-minute cab ride from the Zona Rosa. A nondescript Cuban restaurant during the day, it turns on the heat Wednesday through Saturday nights. If the Roma location is too crowded, which it usually is, the San Angel location may give you a little more breathing room.
