Serpentario de La Paz

Serpentario de La Paz Review

Better that you encounter all the creatures that slip and slither here in the safety of this serpentarium than out in the wilds of Baja. On display in the open-air exhibits are the several rattlesnake and iguana species found in the region, as well as a python and an anaconda, neither of which are native to the Baja peninsula. The focus here in La Paz's newest tourist attraction is on the importance that reptiles serve in the environment. Labeling is entirely in Spanish, but the staff offers guided tours in English with advance notice. Regardless of the language, tours are inlcuded in your admission price.
