This Mexican cantina-style bar and restaurant is well positioned for people-watching along San José's main drag. Decorated with cozy stone-and-stucco walls, the fare is standard but consistent, and reasonably priced. Choose from shrimp and fish tacos, chicken tostadas, enchiladas, or enormous burritos. To wet your whistle, there's a full bar, but you might consider washing down your meal with a refreshing agua de Jamaïca (hibiscus-flavored drink). There's also a small artisan shop in the restaurant, so feel free to browse while you wait for either your meal or your table.
