The Casa, within a boutique hotel of the same name, has been a popular restaurante near the beach for over a dozen years, and refuses to rest on its laurels. It continues its popular live piano-bar music, and has a nice selection of Cuban cigars for sale in the Cigar Room. But it's in the liquor department that they really shine: an impressively updated wine list with first-growth French Bordeaux, an off-the-chart selection of American wines, a worldwide beer menu of 50 brews, a well-rounded Scotch list, and a spirits flight menu. The food they serve is extremely varied and uses myriad ingredients. There's fresh Malaysian tuna, escargot, Casa Rafael's Greek salad, and pasta dishes. Their heavenly Chicken Allison is a boneless breast sautéed in Beaujolais with mushroom sauce. There are many freshly made desserts, too.
