Owner Angel Carbajal named this restaurant after a woman very dear to his heart, and he has spotlighted a number of her unique recipes on the menu. There's a tostada called Huarache, another name for a Mexican sandal, that is muy delicioso and resembles a shoe only by name. There are also many chicken, beef, and seafood dishes spiced up with local ingredients like squash blossoms, chilies, and cheeses.
