Las Tiendas de Palmilla

Fodor's Review:

Las Tiendas de Palmilla, the newest offering on the Corridor shopping scene, is located just across from the posh Palmilla Resort. Your stop here will be rewarded with a selection of tasteful, top-end shops and restaurants, a nice terrace with a peaceful fountain and view of the Palmilla development, and the tranquil turquoise Sea of Cortez beyond.

Antigua de México is a branch of the famous Tlaquepaque store, and shoppers will discover unique furniture and bedding supplies, and many Mexican-flavor interior-decorating items. Artesanía Mágica features rich handicraft gifts from all over the country, doting especially on colorful furniture items. Pez Gordo Art Gallery is artist Dana Leib's second location, and offers pieces by Leib, as well as by other artists. You'll find unique silver tableware designs from Taxco at Prestige Designs.

Get invited to a cocktail party and need something new to wear? Cabana 's inventory of trendy apparel for young women offers everything from eye-catching swimsuits to cocktail dresses. For more au natural apparel, Casa Vieja sells a unique selection of ladies' wear in natural fibers, such as cotton, silk, linen, and even cactus. You'll find items by renowned designer Pineda Covalin here, or in one of the other locations throughout the city. Like its sister property in Cabo San Lucas, Trópica Calipso Swimwear carries a wide selection of swimwear for women. Owner Margarita Partridge, a longtime Los Cabos resident, still personally tends to her many clients. To adorn their new purchases, ladies save the best for last; Diamonds International has fine jewelry in great designs and good prices.

After a serious day of shopping, grab a bite to eat at Nick San, an offshoot of the top-rated Nick San in Cabo San Lucas, or its sister eatery, Trinidad. Located at the western end of the mall, Nick San serves up Japanese sushi, seafood, and teppanyaki grill, while Trinidad's specialties include enchiladas, mole serrano and pozole, and a good selection of Mexican and American wines.
