Without argument, Boulevard Mijares is San José's Restaurant Row. There are more than enough places to satiate your dining desires along this quaint street. Found in La Casa de don Rodrigo building, El Comal serves up affordable dishes such as fish of the day, carne asada a la Tampiquena, flank steak, and cabrilla (sea bass) with mango sauce on a bed of mashed potatoes. There is also live music Thursday evening from 7:30 to 10.
