Sharing a space and creative environment with an art gallery and an interior decorator has rubbed off on this restaurant, sin duda (without a doubt). Here you'll find an anything-goes style of Mexican cuisine. Sure you can order sopa de tortilla or a traditional Caesar salad, but opt instead for the lobster burrito, served with avocado, chipotle, and mango, along with rice and black beans. Or tempura shrimp cooked in tequila with a pineapple relish. And then on to dessert: pistachio crème brûlée or a coconut tart, perhaps? Or both? Daily lunch specials go for about $8, and live Latin and jazz music reigns supreme on Friday night from 7:30 to 10:30.
