Zippers Review
Home to the surfing crowd and those who don't mind a bit of sand in their burgers (well … not really), this casual palapa-roof restaurant is on Costa Azul Beach, just south of San José. Come for the sea breezes, the delicious wafting smell of grilling lobster and tacos, and a sound track of surf tunes. Casual doesn't begin to describe the crowd, which can get downright raunchy. But hey, have fun, amigo, you've entered Los Cabos Surf Zone! There's no question that owner "Big Tony" feeds you well for your pesos. With half-pound burgers, slabs of prime rib, or steak and lobster for two at just $40, you'll leave the beach a glutton, albeit a jolly one. Bring the kiddos in the daytime; they'll enjoy running from the dining table to the sand between every couple of bites. Sporting events sometimes blare on the TV, and Friday nights bring live music.
