Fodor's Review:

Start the day with coffee and French toast at this enduringly popular restaurant. The back patio quickly fills for every meal with a loyal clientele that enjoys the garden setting. The menu includes U.S. cuts of beef and imported seafood along with fajitas, chiles rellenos, and lobster—always in demand. San José's nightlife scene revolves around the comfortable second-story bar. Latin bands and other musicians play nightly. Service can be slow at times, so be prepared to be patient, especially when trying to get the bill.
